University - The Particular

PFH Private University of Applied Sciences is Lower Saxony's oldest private, state-recognised university of applied sciences. It stands out for its practical orientation, its internationality and its innovative teaching programmes. This is why its graduates are so highly coveted: more than 99 percent of on-campus students find their first job immediately after graduating. In addition to its degree programmes at campus locations in Göttingen and Stade, PFH also offers distance learning studies for people currently in employment.

Study Programme - Main Focus

PFH places emphasis on teaching and research on the areas of Business Administration/Management, Psychology and Business Psychology, and on key technology fields such as Carbon Technology and Healthcare Technology. Its engineering study programmes for Sandwich-Structure Materials/Composites (B.Eng. and M.Sc.) and its study programme in the area of Orthobionics (B.Sc.) are unique in Europe. PFH offers graduates of the "General Management" Master's programme a job guarantee. More detailed information about this job guarantee can be found at

Background - The Insight

230 km as the crow flies, through the whole of Lower Saxony: no university in the federal state has a longer distance between lecture halls. Those who travel from the PFH Göttingen Campus (Management, Psychology, Healthcare Technology) to the PFH Stade Hansecampus (Carbon Technology, Management) truly get to know Lower Saxony.
